Boston Tea Party, Frampton's Mill, The Furlong, Ringwood.
A relentless wind blows across a desolate land, a hot and dry land, bearing nothing but lavender and despair. A lone man sets out to bring life and hope back to the desolation - by planting trees. Storyteller Madeleine Grantham uses Jean Giono’s classic fable to frame a collection of folk tales and facts about trees and woodlands. Madeleine Grantham has over 20 years experience telling stories; she brings strength, enthusiasm to tellings that inspire and enthrall. Sadly the event is on the second floor of the venue, so access is limited to those who can manage stairs. Cost: £5 on the door This event is part of the New Forest Arts Festival 2017: http://www.newforestnpa.gov.uk/events/
I'm busy researching and preparing for this coming gig next week.
