We had a marvellous weekend with a selection of fellow storytellers. Each telling a chapter of Ferdowsi's great Persian epic The Shanameh.

The venue made us very comfortable - the splendid Claret Centre in Cambridgeshire. An added bonus was Catherine of Aragon's garden, along with almond and pomegranate trees.
