Well the thing with online storytelling is that there is so much of it about and one does not need to be constrained by accessibility. However I thought I'd mention a mere handful of the events on offer:
Southampton Story Club meet on their usual first Thursday of the month with the theme of 'Flaming June' you can find their Zoom link on their facebook page.
Ringwood's Heads and Tales story cafe is on the third Thursday, theme of Midsummer night's dreams. Zoom details on 'Heads and Tales story club' facebook page.
On Youtube you can find: A Modern Decameron, where storytellers from across the world offer a story each for this time of 'plague' as in the original Decameron in medieval times.
On June 6th There will be a virtual East Anglian Storytelling Festival - see facebook.
Artsreach have links to the wonderful Daniel Morden telling stories online.
The Crick Crack Club are also (temporarily) releasing some of their back catalogue.
Ever entertaining Jason Buck is doing frequent performances for both adults and children - watch his facbook page and Eventbrite for tickets - he sells out quickly though, so don't hang around if you want to watch a show.
LunarSea Zoom Live Storytelling with Shonaleigh Cumbers June holds the Full Strawberry Moon her tree is the Ash.In their honour outstanding storyteller Shonaleigh Cumbers will tell us Moon Tales of Wonder. These precious stories are part of the wonderful Jewish women's oral tradition, which was passed on to her by her grandmother and drut'syla Edith Marks.
There is lots more storytelling out there - too much to note here, but perhaps take the opportunity to see/hear storytellers far from your local area, whilst you have the chance. I'll be at Heads and Tales as usual.
